L'EIXAMPLE OF BARCELONA
Living and lived art – Lifestyle
The Eixample is one of the most dynamic districts of Barcelona, and is also one of the best connected areas to the city´s entry points and public transport.
Three of the city´s most important roads cross it: Passeig de Gràcia, Gran Vía and Avinguda Diagonal, and between its streets it is home to many of the most important attractions in the city such as La Pedrera, the Sagrada Familia, and Casa Batlló.
Also, thanks to its configuration of wide avenues and promenades, it is an exceptional place for shopping, whether in the elegant and attractive Passeig de Gràcia or along Avinguda Diagonal. Within a residential area, it is very close to the best art galleries, museums and foundations in the city, as well as distinguished establishments and fashionable spots.
